These three special girls...  They are more than cousins, they are best friends who grew up together.  Cried together, laughed together, traveled together, like the best kind of friend/family.  It was only appropriate to schedule a special senior session for the three as they embark on their next chapter of life.....together.

First, Emma...

Emma is simply a beauty beyond her years.  Plain and simple.  She's quiet but fierce, silly but observant.  She loves hard. She has overcome a lot of health battles and we almost lost her a few times, but the girl keeps getting up, brushing off her knees and stepping forward.  One word to describe this beauty, resilient. I love you Emma more than you know.  I can't wait to see what your future holds!

Next, Kyndall

Sweet Kyndall.  One word to describe this amazing soul...Christ-follower.  She wants to lead everyone to Christ, which is an amazing gift to give to someone, a road to their salvation.  She is so very funny and goofy yet so grounded in faith that will not waiver.  To be in her presence is truly a gift.

And then there was Skylar..

In 2011, I made the courageous leap of faith into our homeschooling journey. I was fearful and over analyzed everything to make sure she was "schooled." Problem #1 was trying to bring public school into homeschooling. My brain was so conditioned to school the way i was taught; lots of paperwork, lots of seat time.  I read a few books and soon realized I needed to "de-school my mind." I figured out her learning style and catered towards that.

Facts show that if you take a regular 8 hour school day, minus the in between class time, lunch, stopping and asking questions, recess, and everything in between...the time spent on actual learning is about 2-3 hours.

That's it.

So I quickly figured I had a ton of time with my girl to be fully present and enjoyed each day with her, rather than not seeing her for most of the day.

I wanted to implement lots of hands on activities, travel, and lots of nature!  Also, adding in every activity she wanted to try, from gymnastics to drums to cheer and so on!

Some days began with tears while other days started in different states.  One year we did an American History tour and traveled to D.C., Philly and Boston!!  It was amazing!

I managed to also create a whole new CoOp with 15 students.  We met weekly and went on field trips. We had a blast and met some amazing friends.

The journey hasn't been easy but its been such a wonderful journey and I feel so blessed to have completed it!

I wouldn't trade it in for a million dollars and I'm so proud of my SENIOR!

She is full of love, compassion, yet super outgoing and feisty! She has volunteered countless hours from feeding the homeless to serving in her church. She took it upon her self to be a great role model to the youth and also was  Varsity Cheer Captain. She plans to enter into the medical field and I can't wait to see what the Lord does with her precious life.
