It takes a certain type of photographer to be confident enough to be able to photograph well in EVERY lighting situation.  Most newborn photographers have a studio and shoot only with studio light, which is consistent and easy to use.  I photograph in my clients homes so EVERY house has different lighting....some good and easy, some hard.  But to be able to work with every type of natural light makes a good photographer.  Gracie's home was gorgeous and a beautiful set up but dark so knowing what to do in that kind of situation and being able to always produce good work, separates the amateurs from the professionals.
